How I Help
Let Me Carry the Weight
1. Hand Me the 800-Pound Gorilla
Budget, schedule, quality, and hundreds of decisions: building a home is a lot to carry. My goal is to take that 800-pound gorilla off your back and put it on mine.
2. Benefit From My Experience
Building beautiful things means materials, weather, and people are always in conflict. In 30 years I've seen, and fixed, problems that seemed unsolvable. I'll share those lessons so your project avoids them from day one.
3. Solve It Together
Issues come up on every project. I work alongside your builder and design team to find practical solutions fast and keep everyone moving toward the home you want, while you stay focused on your life.
“Think of me as an extension of your team. I've walked hundreds of job sites and can tell in minutes whether a project is set up to succeed.”
— Mark Martin, 30 years in residential construction
Two Ways to Work Together
Owner's Rep — I represent you, and I can be as involved as you need, from hands-on weekly support to an occasional phone call. I review plans, bids, and budgets; suggest options and alternates; join key meetings and site visits; and keep you, your builder, and your design team aligned.
Consulting — Focused, as-needed help: a second look at plans or bids, material and cost comparisons (like the best driveway material for your budget), or narrowing your choices quickly and accurately.
More resources are good for every project. I join as part of your team, working alongside your builder and design team so everyone has what they need to deliver the right home for you.
